EmForge is a J2EE-based, Open-Source, Workflow-Based integrated solution for managing software development process. Our target is to provide easy to use (on the one hand) and flexible (on the other hand) solution for software-development teams.

Key Features of EmForge#

  • Integration of tools, used in software-development process:
  • Easy to use:
    • Simple Windows Installer allow to install EmForge in few clicks;
    • Provided WAR-files for deployment are ready to use just after deployment without any additional configuration;
    • Project already contains some workflows to use in your development process - no needs to design own to start;
  • Highly Configurable - even EmForge ready to use out-of-box, you can configure it to integrates into your environment:
    • Wide range of databases supported (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL);
    • Wide range of Application Servers supported (Tomcat, Jetty, JBossAS, Geronimo, GlassFish);
    • Authentication via ActiveDirectory;
    • Support for different version control systems (Subversion, Mercurial and CVS);

  • SOAP-based and XML-RPC API provided - you can integrate EmForge with your own systems;

Play in Sandbox#

Before download and install EmForge locally you can play with it in sandbox server: http://emforge-sandbox.morphexchange.com/

You can register own user, as well as use admin/admin to login as Admin user.

Until EmForge has no own forum implementation - feel free to use EmForge Mail Lists for communication.
